Prior to Pivotal, Steven spent 5 years as SVP Finance and General Manager at Capital Underwriters, before it was acquired by TD Bank. Steven began his leasing career with Newcourt Credit Group where he was significantly involved in financial reporting, business acquisition and integration in Canada and the U.S. Steven holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University and a CPA designation.

As VP & General Manager of Pivotal Capital Corp, Bruce is a seasoned mid-ticket originations specialist with 22 years of experience in Equipment Financing and Leasing. His primary focus is building Transportation and Construction sales teams with capabilities in both direct and vendor spaces.

Peter has nearly 30 years of financial services experience in Canada, most recently serving as Senior Vice President, Credit at ECN Capital and Element Financial. Peter has an extremely rare skill set that combines extensive Credit and Sales experience in equipment financing with a pro-business vision.

Etienne joined Pivotal as VP Capital Markets with over 15 years of experience in the equipment financing industry. Prior to joining the team, Etienne held various roles of increasing responsibility in Capital Markets notably at GE Capital and Wells Fargo. Etienne has proven track record in loans & leases structuring and syndication in the mid-market sector. His comprehensive experience allows him to provide custom solutions to the customer’s unique needs. Etienne holds a Master’s degree in Finance & Administration from Sherbrooke University and has a CFA designation.
Regional Vice Presidents
Marcy has over 25 years in the equipment financing industry, working in all areas from contract origination, syndication, and assignment business to portfolio management. Marcy has spent all her career on the operations side of the business and in her previous roles has played a key part when acquiring new systems as the book of record and was instrumental in creating policies and procedures. As Pivotal’s Director of Operations she will continue to use her knowledge to develop and build Pivotal’s operations team, streamlining policies and procedures to ensure our customers receive the best service in the industry.
Vice President Sales, Quebec
Jacques brings over 35 years of experience in the Quebec equipment finance industry to Pivotal. His mandate is to grow the Quebec market through his long-established contacts in the transportation, construction and manufacturing segments. Jacques holds an MBA and has worked for several banks with his most recent position managing Quebec for Element-ECN.
Vice President Sales, Western Canada
Matt joins Pivotal with 14 years of Equipment finance experience, having worked for such notable companies as GE Capital and ECN Capital. A Certified Public Accountant, he understands how to structure the right finance option for his clients and vendors so they can get their equipment to work quickly and cost effectively.
A key member of the Senior Leadership Team, Matt’s role as VP Sales for Western Canada includes hiring and managing top-performing salespeople as well as driving direct originations throughout Alberta.

Tony brings over 26 years of financial service excellence to Pivotal Capital Corp. His strong work ethic, attention to detail, excellent customer service and knowledge of equipment are just a few factors that have contributed to his success over the many years in the Transportation & Construction industries.
Account Executive, Southwest Ontario
Chris has been in banking and equipment finance for almost 40 years, most recently with ECN Capital. Chris spent 22 years with Little Bros. Leasing in sales and management roles. He then transitioned to Nexcap when they acquired Little Bros. and joined Element Financial (later ECN) upon their purchase of Nexcap in 2013. In addition to his sales role with Element/ECN, Chris administered a brokered portfolio in Western Canada and spent nine months in the Credit Department. Chris’ major strength is building trust and relationships with his clients.
Nathan joins Pivotal as an Account Manager. His extensive experience in sales has helped him excel in various positions at previous entrepreneurial ventures. Through his career Nathan has been able to effectively create and maintain customer relationships by putting the customer’s needs first, and his technological abilities help them grow their businesses quicker. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Ryerson University.
Account Executive, Northern Ontario
Brent has been in the transportation business for over 30 years in Northern Ontario. He is a seasoned professional working the past 16 years in commercial financing, specializing in Mid-Ticket Originations. His primary focus is building Transportation and Construction volumes, exceeding goals year after year. Most recently he was Sr. Account Executive for ECN Capital Corp (formerly Element Financial) were he worked directly with both Vendors and End Users building strong relationships. Prior Brent worked for Daimler Chrysler Financial as Dealer Relations Manager, with increasing roles of responsibility from Credit Supervisor to AVP of Operations.
Sales Support Specialist
Lisa joins Pivotal as a Sales Support Specialist, bringing with her 25 years of experience in the lease financial sector. Lisa’s clear communication style and broad leasing experience allows her to organize quickly, provide fast turnaround, and to identify and solve problems. Prior to joining Pivotal, Lisa held positions in sales support, documentation, and senior customer service with ECN Financial Inc, AT&T Capital, Maxium Financial, and Wells Fargo.

As a founding partner of Pivotal Capital, Scott brings nearly 25 years of experience in the financial field with him. Starting out at the family’s boutique finance shop, he has worked at several high profile companies such as Element and ECN. He specializes in the transportation side, and has now moved in to medical and construction. Scott has a passion for this business and takes great pleasure in working with such an elite group of professionals.
Account Executive, Central Ontario
Prior to joining Pivotal Capital Bonnie held the position of Business Manager-F&I at the largest Freightliner/Western Star heavy truck dealership in Ontario for 14+ years.
With over 25 years experience in financial services, Bonnie has a proven track record of financing equipment in the transportation, manufacturing, and construction industries.
Earlier experience includes equipment financing with two chartered banks and Operations Manager at a heavy truck dealership. Bonnie’s vast experience along with the team at Pivotal will ensure customer’s expectations are consistently exceeded.
Bonnie has an Honors Diploma in Business Administration from Sheridan College and has taken subsequent credit analyst studies from University of British Columbia.
Jasjit Singh Toor

Jasjit has been in the Canadian Transportation & Construction industries for three years following eight years in Construction in Ludhiana, India. His strong work ethic, proactive customer service and equipment knowledge makes him an asset to both his customers and Pivotal. Jasjit brings a wealth of education to Pivotal, including his Bachelor of Engineering and MBA, as well as diverse experience earned through acquiring his AZ driver’s license.
